PROCESS FOR UTILIZING SVGA BOOK BANK
a new student, all the below steps are applicable
For an existing students, steps no. 3, 4 and 5 are
Step 1 REGISTERATION
Open browser and go to www.svgaindia.org and then go to SVGA
Book Bank and click on ‘Registration of New User’. Please
fill all the details in the application form and submit the
form online. One temporary number will be generated.
Step 2 VISIT TO SVGA OFFICE
On a pre-informed date and time as mentioned on website and
patrika, student will have to visit SVGA office in Dadar and
submit his documents, marksheet and refundable deposit
money. The official will verify the documents and confirm
the registration online. Student receives a receipt and a
passbook which has to be preserved.
Step 3 RECEIPT OF LOGIN ID AND PASSWORD
Student (both new as well as existing) receives an email and
SMS regarding his login ID and password. The login Id will
be nothing but his passbook number.
Step 4 APPLY ONLINE FOR ISSUE OF BOOKS
Student logs on to SVGA BOOK BANK using the details he
receives and goes to Application Request for issue of books.
Select the course and year (Eg. SYBCOM) and select the books
required from the dropdown along with author/publication and
submit the request. If a book is not listed in dropdown,
then he may manually type the book name and author name in
'Others' column and submit his request.
Step 5 COLLECT BOOKS
On the date of issue of books, student will come to SVGA
office along with passbook and collect the books.
